Are there other similar events that prevent bounty gaining from exploring?

Also be nice to equip em with simple weapons and bigger sacks to stop that happening, and return with moar loot.

There are a few of those. I have been chased away by a boar, a bear and maybe a lion. Not sure.

I think thay you should add "your explorer was eaten by a giant chicken." That way lots of people would be too busy moaning to admin that they don't notice me hacking and adding "your explorer and all of your troops fall into a pit full of dynamite. They all blew up and died.". Hey were you still listening?
